The best burgers I’ve ever had… ever.
Something you should know about me: I’m a foodie. But, I love burgers more than anything else. So much so that I have my very own Burger Rating Journal. Here it is.
First Place
My dad’s homemade camping smash burgers.
Marinaded with sweet barbecue sauce, topped with fresh avocado and tomato. Eaten by the campfire. 100/10. No notes.
Second Place
Honorable Mentions
Crazy Good Kitchen, Boston, MA.
The simplicity is what made this special. No extra sauces and a really, really good burger patty.
Good old Red Robin.
No complaints here. Love a good avocado burger.
Margaritaville, Boston, MA.
It was okay. Nothing special, definitely not up to Jimmy Buffet’s standards.
Tuckaway Tavern, NH.
This was a long time ago, but Tuckaway is a butcher/restaurant known for having some really good beef. You can see the flavor melting out of the patty.
The Shuck Shack, Damariscotta, Maine.
For a place known for their oysters, they make a pretty mean burger. Garlic Aioli pushed it over the edge.
Callahan Dinning Hall, Endicott College.
Waiting for some crazy reactions here…
The “Cally” burger will never disappoint.
Third Place
Rev Burger, Beverly MA.
This place KNOWS how to make a burger. Flavorful patty and some crazy good spicy sauce.
