Techkon USA (Current Role)

My internship at Techkon USA can be credited to my lovely tour guiding job at Endicott. While giving a tour during my junior year, I was approached by a father of one of the prospective students, asking if I had an internship lined up for my senior year (I did not). Long story short, his name was Mr. Adam and he is now my boss! I began interning with Techkon part-time my junior year (while taking a full course load). I then stayed on with them for the entire summer and worked full-time for my semester-long internship during the fall of my senior year. I am happy to report that my time at Techkon has been nothing short of amazing, and I will be returning to the company as a full-time Marketing and Sales Associate in June!

The specific thing that made this internship so special was the trust everyone at the company placed in me. From the very beginning, I was given tasks that many interns would never be allowed to do. I would attend and contribute in meetings, make sales calls (and actually sell products), send out entire email campaigns to the whole client base, and curate social media content. I was even able to attend a trade show in Orlando, FL with the company where I learned about communicating with clients, selling the brand/product, and overall business professionalism.
